A Passion for Paws
For as long as I can remember, animals have been my passion. I’m Sue Chilton, and as a resident of the beautiful Illawarra, I’m not just a business owner; I’m your neighbour.
The idea for this business didn’t happen overnight. It came from seeing the real-life challenges around me. I saw the relief a pet owner felt when someone they trusted could take their dog to the vet. I shared the frustration of friends searching for a reliable sitter who would treat their home and their pet with respect. And my heart went out to the hopeful faces I met during my volunteer work at our local shelters, all waiting for a family to call their own.
These threads—the need for caring transport, for trusted sitting, and for passionate rescue advocacy—all wove together into one clear idea. I knew I had to create a place where pet owners could turn for anything, a service built on trust, compassion, and a personal touch. That’s how this journey began.

For our Pet Taxi service, all animals travel in secure, size-appropriate carriers within a climate-controlled vehicle. For Pet Sitting, we conduct a thorough meet-and-greet to understand your pet’s needs and environment, and we have clear emergency protocols in place.

Q5 : What is your pet adoption process?
We are so glad you’re considering adoption! Our goal is to find the perfect match for both the animal and the family. The process typically involves:

A meet-and-greet with the pet to ensure a good connection.

There is an adoption fee which helps cover the significant costs of rescuing and caring for the animal, including their desexing, first vaccination, microchipping, and flea/worm treatments.
